My friend always has me do cute ideas for her family photos.  I love this idea, look close because right off it’s probably not clear.  There are supposed to be electronics in the chest.  If you look at each boy, he is doing something to get to the electronics without mom and dad knowing.  The little one already has his device out and the other boys each have some sort of tool in their hand to break open the chest.  Too complicated?  Maybe, but I’m still happy with it.  I think one of the hard jobs when doing a conceptual shoot is translating words into something visual and keeping it simple and fun to look at.  This was the best I could do to pull it off visually.  What do you guys think?  What would have made this less confusing or more visually appealing?  I love conceptual shoots but sometimes they become sort of hairy.  Afterward we went on the do the standard shots mixed with silly.

And.....they are close to being done.  Kids have a time limit.  They were patient and held off just a bit longer for me.
