Curly hair, bright poofy dresses, Irish jigs fiddling in my ears....I was at the Utah State Feis!! If you walked in the doors of SLCC's LAC, you would be in a different world. An Irish dance competition ....... I was the photo vendor!!
Im really glad I went. I've never done something quite like this. EXHAUSTING, but I had a good time! I set up a studio (and I DON"T recommend putting together a floor and then working a full day, BTW) and offered digital files on the spot.
I set up a tether so that the pictures could be seen as I took them. Im not used to be tethered to anything, but I got used to it!
The bright dresses were awesome. I didnt dare show my little girl for fear of a tantrum!
The Irish music didn't even irritate me! I did feel bad for the fiddler, though. THAT seemed like a lot of work!
I also ran into my cousin who was working the registration table. I haven't seen her in forever so that was a fun plus!
All in all, Im glad I had this great opportunity but Im still deciding if I dare do something like this again.
